Withdrawal Symptoms

It has been 2 days since I last sat in the GTR. That immense torque pull was unforgettable. That V6 rumble was fierce. Those twin turbo spooling simultaneously was more than enough to send your heartbeat into Sports Mode.

It was not more than 3 seconds, but boy did it feel great.

This is one of the few things that you'll remember for the rest of your life

Impossible stunts

I have to try Forza Motorsport 3. Don't tell me you dun wanna try it after watching this trailer.

That 3 seconds

That 3 seconds

- felt like warp speed

- wasn't enough to catch a breath

- was all it took to reach 90km/h

- was short but hell did it feel out of this world

- was unexplainable

- needed to be longer

- was crazy

Let me congratulate myself for being able to sit in an all out accelerating GGGTTTRRR

Bullrun

An incredible machine on an awesome road. What more can petrolheads ask for.

Don't watch this video if you are easily jealous. Or use a syringe to inject petrol into your veins to cure your withdrawal symptoms after this.

LAMBORGHINI MURCIELAGO LP640 ROADSTER

It cant get any better than putting a V12 into a convertible

Whose 2nd best?

Another of Audi's attempt to earn German pride

This video will certainly spark a war of words among dedicated fans of Audi and BMW.

MTM tuned A3

MTM tunes are very linear, unlike American tuners like GIAC etc.

This gives power throughout the rev range, allowing the driver to enjoy in most conditions.

However, linear acceleration does not give you the pinned back surge many love from the turbo boost.

For me, i would prefer a linear output due to Singapore's road condition.

This is a very good writeup for those who want to know more about what a tuner can do for the car. No tuner knows Audi better than MTM.

A modified A3 with MTM additions and oem S3 parts doesn't sound cheap, and it isn't.

Read more to find out how they transform this tame car into something special for the North American market.

Iceman in his new flying machine

Kimi Raikonnen may have left F1, but deciding to join rally meant that he still has the need for heart pumping adrenaline. Rally cars might not be able to pull as much Gs as the F1 car, but it sure does provide a rush of blood to the brain for driver and onlookers alike.

Watch Kimi fly

V8 Symphony

I've mentioned in one of my previous post that i do not really like the high pitch revving sound of the 599 GTB. Let me retract my words because at full throttle on another prancing horse, there isn't any better sound out there.

Ferrari's stripped out, track ready F430 Scuderia has been my personal Supercar favourite for a couple of years, and it still is, despite newer and more technologically advanced rivals like the sexy Gallardo lp560-4, hardcore GT3rs and refined R8 V10.

Introducing one of the best sounding engine in motoring.

Please do yourself a favor and turn up the volume.

wooooooohooooooo

Street legal F1?

Awesome looks and incredible sound. Enough for petrolheads to beg for more.

Evo invades the Ring

The Evo 9 gsr has always been an enthusiast's driving machine.

More than 400nm of torque matched by a proper 6 speed gearbox and Active Yaw Control (AYC) sounds like the perfect combination, but can it handle the Ring? High speed corners, tight apexes, uneven surfaces: The Ring is one of the most challenging track in the world. Performance automakers use this track time as a benchmark against rivals.

Let's see how this Evo 9 perform

February 15, 2010

Made in Japan

A rather old video but still worth watching over and over again.

It's amazing how the R35 can lap the Ring ahead of the mighty 911.

It's amazing how the puny 2 litre 4B11 turbo unit can accelerate from 0 to 60 in 3.5 seconds.

Both are winners

Bang for Buck

Whats the difference between these 2 pictures? Temperature. 1 is hotter than the other due to a peak boost of 1.5 bar from 0.8 bar.

A Stage 1 tune has to be the most bang for buck mod in terms of achieving power gain.

Estimated figures :

200bhp to 250bhp

280nm to 370nm torque

Impressive.

An exhaust or air intake mod would most probably gain a maximum 10-20 bhp.

Very pleased with the result. Endless pull. off the throttle 3/4 of the time to maintain lta legal speed.

Not intending to do anything to the exhaust system. Want to preserve the low end pull.

Chill =)
