Munich's compact MMMonster 1

The 135i is extremely rare in Singapore, probably due to BM's premium pricing, road tax and coupe impracticality.

Kudos to those who chose this over other premium brands hovering around this price range.

What they are paying for is BMW's renowned steering feel, 50/50 weight distribution resulting in excellent balance and the proven inline 6 (found in a host of other Beemers) enhanced by a couple of turbos.

What I like about this coupe is that it's not a convertible, thus no extra weight/ burden due to folding mechanisms.

It is compact, zippy and would be a joy to drive in SIngapore roads, although i prefer the NA 3dr hatch 130i.

Doesn't look as fierce as the 3 coupe but boy does this kid pack some serious torque.

No fanciful quad system here. Just a simple sporty twin exhaust from a single outlet.

Unique colour choice. Would look meaner if 18" were worn but this is more than acceptable.

Unfair comparison?

"The GTi isn't the best at anything, but it has everything"

Comfort

Handling

Practicality

Appeal

Image

These are the reasons why I love this car. It cant be the best at everything.

Perfect illustration through this video.

How can they pit the GTi against the track-ready Megane and 300bhp Focus RS? Obviously the GTi will lose out in the handling and power/weight ratio department.

What they need to compare with is THIS

A sneak peak, but petrolheads well know that she's the most powerful production Golf ever

What a sight

Spotted a ferrari 599 gtb in the central west area. You shld know where it is.

Ferraris do not produce a symphony similar to maserati/ lambo etc. Their high pitch sound may not be as pleasant as their Italian siblings but it was still a sound worth digging your ears for. :)

Awesome trailer

The 911 Turbo had been the Stuttgart Automaker's icon for years and it still is. The latest edition features the latest in gearbox technology: the dual clutch transmission.

Please turn up your volume and enjoy.

Lets soak into motoring nirvana with this 3 minute long clip.

3.5 seconds

Sat in a red hot R35 GTR last Friday.

The engine start up was pure motoring symphony. That V6 grunt might not be as beefy as, let's say, a c63's V8, but just the thought of this Supercar beating the 911 Turbo round the Nurburgring sent shivers down my spine. I am sitting on an engineering marvel.

Spanking new 7 day old GTR. Absolute head turner.

Godzilla takes a rest in his stable.

PS3 inspired dials. A joy to operate.

Keeping the Godzilla tradition by having minimal alteration on the 4 tail lamps.

Golden Brembos provide more than enough stopping power. But its never enough, that's why Alcons have brakes just for the GTR haha.

Rivalling Cooper S

Just installed front and rear H&R anti roll bars and they DO make a huge difference in handling. Body roll is kept to a minimum and the ride feels much more planted. Surprisingly, ride comfort stays the same. One of the best investment so far other than the BBK 2 years back.

V8 beauty

Saw a silver C63 AMG near City Hall MRT at 2am on New Year's Day. The sound after it powers from the bend is just intoxicating. Grunty and meaty. Who needs turbo whistle or supercharger whine when a pure 6.3 NA block sits right in front of you. It HAS to be one of the best sound in motorcar history. Thumbs up AMG.
